DRAMA & THEATRE STUDIES AS/A2

Mission Statement

"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts…"

We want to become an established centre of excellence in inspiring young people to engage with and celebrate drama and theatre in all its forms.

In essence we want our students to:

  • Become confident drama practitioners in your own right

  • Appreciate established practitioners and their skills that have influenced theatre over time

  • To engage with and develop positive working relationships with The Alnwick Playhouse

  • To celebrate and produce outstanding performances both professionally and personally

  • To foster a life long love of the performing arts
