Department Highlights

The High School PE department has a proud reputation of sporting success within Northumberland. County Cups are regularly won in cricket, rugby, netball, hockey, athletics and cross-country. We have also produced many international sports stars which in recent years include Laura Weightman (athletics) and Lucy Bronze (football). Our excellent sports leaders work tirelessly within the community promoting and encouraging youth sport. The benefits of this can now be seen within our core PE lessons as students arrive with enthusiasm from our feeder middle schools.
