ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE SIXTH FORM

There are many arranged activities outside normal lessons in the sixth form. Some of the activities are a requirement of Sixth Formers. As positive role models to the rest of the school community, we feel that it is important to secure full participation in a variety of events. We also believe that it is vital that students gain experience of activities other than their studies.

It is also a vital component if we are to be able to write the best reference either for university or employment.

Such activities include:

  • Community Service

  • Debating

  • Drama productions

  • Duke of Edinburgh

  • Evening classes

  • Expeditions

  • Higher Education Conference

  • Orchestra and choir

  • Public speaking

  • Recreational sport

  • School sports teams

  • Study Skills Seminars

  • Subject-based trips

  • University Open Days
